Firstly Shuffle! isn’t really the of harem I’m talking about over here, since its an eroge adaption. I do love Shuffle! alot as well. And I hope you’re not basing your judgement of Strawberry Panic solely on the anime alone.

And I believe the layman would link eroge with negative conotations. This is understandably not true in most cases, because as the name itself implies (erotic-game), the themes within eroge and subsequent adaptions are likely to be geared towards a more mature audience. Sure, Shuffle! does feature your typical GG. But Shuffle! dares to explore themes of psychologically unsound characters which you’ll never see a typical Shounen harem like for example, Ichigo 100%.

I fail to see how loving bad yuri a la Strawberry Panic means you’re more mature than the guy watching Shuffle – it just means the trash you like is different than the trash they like.

Although I’m a fan of yuri, I prefer straight stuff (because I need a pen0r in my stuff)… although futanari (as long as the other person is a girl) is definitely preferred over all.
