1 day late because I recently went nuts about Day of Defeat: Source again (played 1 entire map cycle worth of maps) ever since Valve offered it at USD4.99 a few weeks ago which brought in a surge of noobs to pwn. Not a very popular game I know, but I’m still cracking my brains over figuring out a proper rifleman strategy for palermo.
But anyway, on to the meat of this post:
Quote from article:
“The politician reportedly read 20 comic magazines a week at the peak of his ‘addiction’.”
So before F*ckuda got elected, I was personally rooting for Taro Aso because of his support of modern Japanese visual culture. As some Otaku should know, Taro Aso has earned the nick name “Rozen” Aso because he was caught reading a volume of the excellent gothic-loli Peach-Pit manga Rozen Maiden in Tokyo International Airport, and gave a speech to Japanese Otaku in Akihabara.
If Taro Aso got elected, there would be a good chance that he would make a bigger push to use manga as a platform to spread Japanese culture world-wide. While I would rather have an eroge minister spread the joys of eroge to the world, I don’t think that would really be possible and manga or anime would definitely have to suffice.
So who is with me in hoping Rozen Aso clinches Japan’s top post?
