I’ve been checking on some online stores that ship Osouji Sentai Clean Keeper internationally and it seems all the LE versions have been sold out. This holds true for Play-Asia.com and Himeya Shop has removed the limited edition version from their shop and only lists the regular edition. Amazon.co.jp isn’t counted ‘coz it doesn’t ship Clean Keeper internationally, and Amazon.co.jp does have stock of the limited edition (as of this posting).

Osouji Sentai Clean Keeper is the Nitendo Wii’s first Bishoujo game and was released exactly one month ago. 15 different Seiyuus were involved in the game’s creation, including Yukari Tamura (Nanoha, Rika from Higurashi), Mikako Takahashi, Mai Nakahara (Nagisa from Clannad!), Kanako Sakai (Onda Aka from REC) and Yui Shoji. The voices are undeniably a very strong point of the game and a radio web channel has been set upon the game’s release. Akiba Blog has extensive coverage of its release and here are some pictures that they have posted:

According to the English version of Akiba Blog on the 11th of April 2008, “Osouji Sentai Clean Keeper” has become No. 450 at Amazon ranking as of the 11th ( in the morning), but at Sofmap AM Branch, it has become No.2 among consumer game (console game).”

It does seem that Clean Keeper is selling well both domestically and internationally and if all goes well, we might get an announcement of the anime adaption soon. I myself have already completed the game one time through and it is divided into 10 chapters with anime style “next episode” voice-overs, hinting hugely that an anime adaption may already be in the works. The big question now is who is going to do it, and when.
