This really reminds me of the April Fools jokes that American computer game company Blizzard Entertainment likes to play. I am making the comparison because, both companies take their time to publish their games but they usually turn out to be really high in quality and never dissappoint.

Whether true or not, it is still good news for visual novel enthusiasts as it shows some collaboration between Higurashi no Naku Koro ni creator Ryuukishi07 and Key.

Key is a famous visual novel company in Japan that have published the popular works Kanon, Air, Clannad, Planetarian and Little Busters!, 3 of which have been adapted into anime.
