Tempted to crop off Sunohara’s stupid face.

Tomoyo is really starting to impress me and I’m actually rooting for her, since its clear that Okazaki doesn’t give a crap about Kyou of which I REALLY have no idea why. If I were to rank how hard each CLANNAD girl is working to achieve what she wants, Tomoyo and Nagisa are tied, while Ryou is rock bottom. Nagisa keeps trying harder and harder to her limits, as shown in this episode when she collapses, though not without the support of others. Tomoyo just silently soldiers on and on without a really valid source of strength or reason, but that will soon change with Okazaki I hope?

Worry-moe, one of the most important moe gushes.

Yes its been building up in me now, but I have to rant about Ryou. In fact I was thinking of setting up a blogpost simply to bash her, but no one can do that. Heck, I bet her sister can’t screw up enough courage to really scold her all this while, which probably contributed to her weak personality. Of course there is the Okazaki side to things as well.. Okazaki is really one freaking lucky bastard.

In the world of seduction, honesty doesn’t get you anywhere.

Ok I admit that I was aroused during the entire gym routine, but honestly not as aroused as viewing other… stuff. I mean I’m mature enough not to be overtly attracted to 2D girls even if its Kyou. Girls, and women, are here for a sacred reason in this world.. but still my god. Full blown Kyou dere-ness in gym shorts is obviously fantastic.

Imo, nothing wrong with you, Kyou. Everything wrong with Tomoya, though.

Anyway, back to Ryou. She is exactly the type of girl that I would probably like in real life. Sure, I know that she is supposed to be a side character and not a main Bishoujo. I mean, those that have been with me in secondary school will recognise there is actually a girl that actually looks abit like Ryou back then.

ryou.png

Where have I seen this before?

Lets face it, Ryou isn’t trying at all. Sure, she is rather moe, but she isn’t a moe heroine. She isn’t giving it her best like Fuko or Nagisa, and we do have her sister to blame. I mean, thinking about Ryou really digs up some bad memories from my army days where everyone was covering each other’s asses. There was this particular colleague that looked, or at least acted helpless, and got his ass covered a bloody million times. But in the end, many military policemen in the platoon agreed that he has not grown to be a better man after ending service. Really sad stuff we were talking about just as we were all about to end service, but its true. So this brings up the fallacy that covering a colleague’s ass actually harms him more than it does do him good in the long run.

Tomoya should star in a 4Koma titled Raki Basutado.

Lets compare Ryou to her kouhai Sakagami Tomoyo. Upon recognising that she was attracted to Tomoya, Tomoyo immediately springs up a mission plan to convert Tomoya into a boy that she will like more, much to Tomoya (and Sunohara’s) dismay. Tomoyo gambare! Oh and honestly when I realised how short Tomoyo was, her attractiveness suddenly went up several notches for me. I mean with all her chain kicking and masculine vibes I never noticed that she was comfortably short. And short is good. ^^

Students of Class D must be bloody retarded not to know that.

However in a sense, Ryou could be Key’s link into reality as she probably reflects closely what many real girls would do instead of the other main heroines. I mean the fact is, his ass still got covered. Reality is really a sad place huh?

But all’s well ends well. I mean with Nagisa out of the picture, there’s no telling what Tomoyo will do to Tomoya or vice-versa. Is Kyoto Animation dropping major hints that an anime adaption of Tomoyo After is in the works? It looks like we’ll have to wait till Friday to find out.
